Latest Updates from Our Project:

☆ Orders Locking ☆
5 months ago – Mon, Dec 29, 2025 at 12:50:35 PM

Just a quick one.

Orders are locking in the next day or two, and after that cards will be charged.
A couple of stretch goal add ons didn't fund, so they'll be deleted from carts shortly.

The missing pins appeared today, must've got caught in the Christmas post chaos. Apparently it was very bad this year!

Happy new year, everyone :)

☆ Shipping Update ☆
6 months ago – Mon, Dec 15, 2025 at 02:13:02 PM

Hey

So we still have pins MIA right now, and unfortunately its not looking like it will be resolved before next year. We're taking a break over Christmas and we'll be back in January with a full update, hopefully we'll have them in hand by then. Pre shipping prep has started though, we're getting everything set up and ready; we may start sending out orders that don't contain the missing pins in January anyway. We'll see after Christmas.

We have now managed to apply the tariffs correctly. We also completely redid our shipping fees, so if you were getting a huge increase over a single item, it should be fixed now (some people were going from £4.50 to £40 over a single notebook!). Please take a minute to review your orders and make sure you're happy with your add-ons from the store before cards are charged (you'll get two week's warning by email before this happens). There might have been small increases in postage, but no one should be seeing a massive jump up (not including tariffs) so if you are, please get in touch. If you're in the USA, your tariff total should be 10% of your item total. It might skew less, but it absolutely shouldn't be more.

I think that's it :). We'll back in Jan with news. Happy holidays, everyone ~

Shipping and Previews
6 months ago – Tue, Dec 02, 2025 at 03:34:30 PM

Hello hello ~

Well, we have good news/bad news again.
The pin package did arrive!
Several designs were missing. The manufacturer did not complete them all in time. Although they did send me what they had, they didn't tell me until the package was here.
I won't charge cards until the pins are in my hands. We've made that mistake before lmao. Still, preparations for shipping have started, so once they're here and charges proceed then things will go out asap. You'll get an automatic email giving about a week's warning before charges go through.

Until then, here's a peek at what we did get. Just a note that taking photos of pins is extremely hard and I suck at it, but I did my best!

Mini bees! Blue and red banded.

Rainbow bee/Pintober freebie pin. Look this is a dreadful photo of that pin, but it IS here, and they look awesome I promise T_T.

All of the branch pins, including a backing card preview. They all use the same backing cards this time.

All three foxglove designs.

Acer pair/single acer leaf/conker minis. The pair are so tiny, they're very cute. One of them only has one post on the back though there was no space for two.

Its hard to get a picture of this guy but the blue jay is one of my absolute favourites from this collection. I'm gonna stick 'em on everything.

These are rubbish pictures. We're back dating the crow prize feather to this campaign. Its a freebie you get by being in the top 10 engagement list, pointing out a mistake in a news post, or making a suggestion that I use in the campaign. Its something we're going to be doing moving forward as a little thank you gift; each time we run out I'll have them made in a new colour. Also the stained glass physalis are much prettier in person, you can see through the 'glass' but it is definitely strongly coloured.

Cat skulls/Mantis. I know it was a bit odd to have two sizes but it helped a lot deciding how to move forward. We probably won't make our other skulls in the larger size, 1.75" feels about right. But it is nice to have, and damn they got a lot of details into both of them. Also I much prefer the mantis in pin form, the gold just makes it pop way more. I hope that you guys like them too.

Harvest mice, or why my manufacturer hates me most this campaign. They have several layers of screen print to make up the effects. The fade effect on the last one was achieved with UV printing in the end, but I actually think it turned out well. I didn't want to go with a pearl effect for flowers and it made a nice medium. The colours are not super accurate here, but as close as I could get.

The manu did some serious magic with the spines on the venus fly trap, I swear. I thought they might have to make them way thicker than they did.

Poppy/Dahlia/Sweet pea mini pins. We're still missing a couple as you can see. There was a big oops with the other sweet pea screen print, and I think they're remaking the whole batch on rush order right now. Hopefully it won't be too long.

Oh! And I totally forgot, but we do have the picture window quicksand pins in. They are plated in black nickel and not gold, so I'll be making a post about it on its own soon. I will say though, the black I think looks very good; much more like a silhouette than the gold would have. I just really need to get a clear picture to show you guys what I mean and well. As you can see. Its not going well haha.

And that's it. I'm not sure we'll be actively sending packages before 2026 now, but I've asked for a production update and as soon as those pins are in my hands, we'll get the ball rolling.

Thank you for your continued patience, and happy holidays :).

Tariff and Shipping Updates
7 months ago – Tue, Nov 04, 2025 at 05:50:16 PM

Hello hello

We are are in the early prep stages for shipping!

Orders will be locking down before the end of November, hopefully. Before that though, please note that for USA backers, a 10% tariff charge will be applied to your orders. That is 10% of your order total, before shipping. The system in place for shipping to the US from the UK requires that all tariff charges be paid up front at the time of shipping. The total should be visible on your pledge within the next couple of days, but cards won't be charged for another week or two yet - so you still have time to change any items added at the survey stage.

Not too many factory pics, but everything is looking awesome. If everything goes well, we should be starting to ship out in December.

Thanks everyone :).

Tariff and Shipping Updates
10 months ago – Fri, Aug 22, 2025 at 11:48:34 AM

 Hey hey ~

I've had a few requests for an update about US shipping and the new tariffs and what not, so I just wanted to put out a quick update.

Unfortunately, for the most part all I can say is 'wait and see', and I know that's not very reassuring.

In short I have no intentions of stopping shipping to the USA, but the shipping costs are going to go up, its inevitable.

The new system requires that sellers pay duties and taxes upfront on US shipments, putting the burden on us to charge you (the customer) at the point of sale, rather than you paying customs directly after your item arrives. If we don't pre pay and have all of the paperwork correct, then you are charged a flat rate fee of $80 when your item arrives. (If this happens to you with one of our packages contact me immediately.) Our UK postal service (Royal Mail) put out an announcement that they will be setting up a service that allows us to do all the prepayments and paperwork online, and they'll handle the rest. This service goes live next week. I won't know exactly how it works, or exactly what the fees are, until it goes live.

The duties/taxes are different depending on the country of origin of your items. All of our items are manufactured in China, therefore that's their country of origin.

For the Midnight Ocean and Mythical Garden campaigns, prepare for your shipping to increase in cost before cards are charged. We don't know how much by yet; and with everything changing there's nothing to say it won't be different again before these projects are ready to ship. We strive to keep our shipping costs as low as possible, and I will continue to do everything I can on that front. I know that the Midnight Ocean has a lot of heavier items, and we might be able to refund just those items to people who need to get back under a weight bracket for cheaper shipping. Bear with us; we'll handle it closer to the time.

For now that's it, just know that we are keeping an eye on things in the background. If I find out anything concrete then I'll update again.
